1. Eligibility for Refunds

Eligibility for refunds depends on the type of service or event purchased, and each refund request is subject to specific terms as outlined below:

  • Refunds for event registration fees are only available under specific conditions, such as cancellation or rescheduling, as detailed in Section 2.
  • Refunds for sponsorship or partnership contributions are generally non-refundable, except in cases where the event is cancelled by us. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • Fees for other products or services, such as digital downloads or consultations, are typically non-refundable unless expressly stated at the point of purchase.
  • Under no circumstances will refunds be provided for any amount paid by STAR OF SECTOR Award winners for table bookings prior to the award announcement.

2. Refund Conditions by Event Type

  • Cancellation by Organiser: If an event is cancelled by STAR OF SECTOR, registrants will be entitled to a full refund of their registration fees.
  • Postponement by Organiser: In cases of event rescheduling, registrants may choose to: Attend the event on the rescheduled date, or Request a full refund within 5 days of the new date’s announcement. If a refund request is received after 5 days, no refund will be provided.
  • Cancellation by Attendee: Refund requests by attendees must adhere to the following timelines: 30+ Days Before the Event: Full refund, minus an administrative fee. 15-29 Days Before the Event: 50% refund, minus an administrative fee. Less than 15 Days Before the Event: No refund available.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Administrative Fees: Administrative fees are non-refundable and will apply to any refund processed.
  • Processing Fees: Payment processing fees imposed by payment providers are non-refundable.
  • Late Cancellations: Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 15 days before the event date or for non-attendance without prior notice.

4. Refund Request Procedure

  • Submission of Request: All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] with the subject line 'Refund Request – (STAR OF SECTOR).
  • Documentation Required: Please include proof of payment, the reason for your refund request, and any additional information supporting your claim.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the date of approval.

5. Mode of Refund

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Please note that additional time may be required for processing by your bank or credit card provider.

6. Exceptions

STAR OF SECTOR reserves the right to evaluate and make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Exceptions may be considered for unforeseen circumstances, such as medical emergencies or other exceptional situations.
